Digital Polaroid Camera
TOMY brings us a totally portable digital polaroid camera that can print take and print images on the spot. The only downfall is that they are remarkably small. So next time you see a sweet pic, you can immediately print it out on a tiny photo, and maybe give it to a tiny gnome with good taste who may want to frame it for it's den. Otherwise, I would just keep the digital file.

Olga Kurylenko, the bond girl
Cedric Delsaux. Star Wars Series.

French photographer Cedric Delsaux uses action figures to bring urban scenes to life in his Star Wars Serie. The photos have a chilling stillness to them, as if its an everyday occasion to see stormtroopers gridlocked around your local expressway.

15 Below Project
The 15 below jacket, designed by Canadian designer Lida Biday, was designed to help devise a way to keep the homeless warm in cold Canadian winters. The jacket itself is light, windproof, and water proof. But the coux de gras comes with the "insulation". Users can stuff newspaper into 15 hidden pockets within the coat to provide some insulation, which is rated for 15 below weather for at least 8 hours. The bag can also fold into a pillow and a backpack. Several of the bags have been signed by famous celebritites and made it to ebay to be sold as a fundraiser. Celeb endorsers include Yo-Yo Ma, John Stewart, Nelly Furtado, R.E.M, and more. See the test footage here: The test

Mayan Playing Cards

In Soviet Russia, there wasn't much tolerance for free market capitalism. The gov. controlled most production. The same went for card companies, of which there were only 10 variations and were all made by the Soviet state. Apparently Ancient Mayan culture seemed to be of interest to Russians at that time?

Bags from Bike Tires
Alchemy Goods is in the business of handmade sustainable bags. Their products are mostly made from discarded tire inner tubes and seatbelts, which makes them extremely durable as well as better for the environment. Messenger like these bags are taking off, especially among the rising urban biker communities. Wish I had one myself.
